My final reflection from this project is, this project tested my abilities to create, and produce a film opening. Along the way there was bumps in being able to keep up and make sure work got done. There was some difficulty’s with doing so because I chose to work alone but in the end I created my final film opening. If I said it was easy to be done I would be lying, this was one of a very difficult tasks to do for a class. After all the bumps and tests this project threw at me my final project was created. This was a wonderful project to participate in and shows the talent and creativity we are capable of .
The production of one of my CCR is mainly based outside because the idea was going on a walk while getting interviewed. When filming this CCR I had ran into some conflict, when living in Florida the chances of being outside and seeing wild life is high, while on this walk me and my guest speaker ran into two snakes ( most likely venomous). This was an unfortunate turn of events, and we had to relocate. After this encounter we relocated and continued to film the CCR. The filming process of this specific CCR is kind of difficult because you need to have a steady camera awhile walking with is challenging. After all the changes of filming this CCR we finally got the prefect shots and finalized the CCR.
Question- How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?"
Engaging with audiences-My target audience is people who enjoy watching horror films or those who like the felling of an adrenaline rush or the felling of suspense. My film will engage with the target audience because it has all the feelings the audience enjoys. The suspense is added when the girl wakes up from the dream and the horror and feeling gets cut off and left on a cliff hanger. The adrenaline rush is curated in the film when the girl is having the nightmare and is having all the bad experiences. This type of film category is specifically chosen and based on the target audience to get the best traction and engagement as possible.
How is it distributed- This film opening is going to be distributed just as any other media text would. In my aice media class, I have done much research in the past about how to correctly distribute a film as a media text and how to figure out the perfect target audience for your specific type of film. The way I would distribute this is first I would create a trailer for the film opening and post onto social media accounts for the film. After I would create other post other from the trailer onto social media accounts. Lastly I would collaborate with well known social media stars and high class brands to post about or promote my film. These types of distributions have all been learned in my class and I am taking that information and making it become real.
EX) Gossip girl is a popular show on Netflix and was created and produces many years ago. Still as of today there is a up and running instagram page for the show and creates traction and a engagement for their fans.
This is a close up of how much traction is truly going on. This instagram page is still keeping up with post, has ,any followers, and shows in the bio where you can watch and if it is a film or movie. This account adds a lot of engagement to the audience or new viewers.
Unfortunately I was not present for the group meetings but in this blog post I will be discussing CCR post ideas.
1- An idea I have for one of my CCR post is a podcast. I want to create this podcast in a way where viewers will stay interested and not get board by viewing it. I will attempt to do this by adding visuals and image inserts as one way during the podcast to keep viewers interested. To add onto this I will have a guest appearance ( my actor) during the podcast to switch up the voices and make viewers interested in what they have to say. Lastly I will add into my podcast is sounds in the background such as when the guest walks into I would add a faint sound of clapping or cheering, or is a joke is made I will add another faint sound of laughing or giggling.

2- My second idea for a CCR post is a idea I have seen on tick-tock but I have changed up the events. The video I have seen on tick-tock where an influencer goes on runs and collaborates with other influencers by convincing them to go on runs with her and interviews them. I take inspiration from this but I would create it in my own way. The way I would create it is instead of running I would be gong on a walk to get the best shots and not have a shaky and unstable camera. I would also take inspo from meting up with influencers when on the run, but instead I would meet up with on of the actors from my film and interview them. I think this is a good way to keep viewers interested because on top of the guest interview there will be changing scenery while walking.

CCR post- my first CCR post is going to be a podcast. To keep the viewers interested I will make sure to include in my podcast, engaging content such as picture inserts, have captivating information that makes viewers focused, and a guest interview.
The first to questions I will be answering in the podcast are:
1-How do products challenge convections and represent social media.
media challenges trends on social media platforms such as, representing social media and influencers who create marketing tactics such as videos or adds, it creates trends also such memes, posts, and other engaging videos.
It also represents social media by being created specifically to grab a target audience’s attention.
2-Genre conventions
They set an expectation for the whole film and create a tone.
Ex) romance movies ends on good terms and focus on two main characters who have a love interest, horror movies ends in bad ways and add suspense through the whole film with the music and added sounds.
I started off my production outside to get all the first shots and do a trial to prefect the lighting. When working outside in the dark it is Hard to perfect the lighting and get a clear view of the objects, setting , and characters. This is one obstacle I ran into, but after a few different shots and lighting changes I overcame that obstacle. Over all I have collected many shots for my film so far.
This is an example of a test shot to see hoe the lighting would work in this setting and how the darkness would effect the shot. There are many other test shots that where taken to find the perfect lighting to create the best possible film opening.
